Last week on the podcast I reflected on how plant spirits can visit our dreams.
But did you know there are two main ways plant spirits visit dreams?
Spontaneous plant spirit encounters. These invitations happen when the spirit invites us to work with them.
Intentional invitations. This happens when we extend an invitation to the plant spirit to work with us. Ask them to join us through conscious dream practices.
In other words, invitations can go in two directions.
The plant calls you. OR
You call the plant.
Over the years in my own plant and fungi spirit work, I’ve experienced both invitations. And work with my closet plant, fungi, and tree spirits usually has a history of both invitations.

And, why would plant spirits call us in dreams? To:
Share messages about our path that we’re missing.
Reflect lost, hidden, and suppressed parts of ourselves.
Partner together on sacred work on the land where we live.
Empower us to heal our inner core wounds.
Honor the call of our Soul to descend into our inner world and transform into our authentic selves.
Reconnect us with our ancestors and lost lineages.
Revive hidden personal and spiritual gifts.
Grant us spontaneous healing simply through the dream alone.
To name a few. You know. Small stuff ;)
Plants, fungi, and trees are our ancestors’ ancestors.
In other words, the wise guides, elders, and teachers our elders went to for support. Who have the ability to connect us to their wisdom and therefore reflect our own.
