When dreams speak

When dreams speak

I've always been a vivid dreamer. But I didn't always recognize the powerful messages intuition was sending me at night.

As young as age 3-5 I have a memory of one of my first reoccurring dreams. Like a thrilling movie playing on the large screen, for years I dreamt about being dragged and then locked in a prison cell. When I got older and became politically active, I sensed the dream was about being a political prisoner and this puzzled me. What young child dreams over and over again about being a political prisoner?

A few months ago in an online forum I’m a part of for magical practitioners someone asked a common series of questions. New to magic and ritual and she wanted to complete a clearing ritual.

She felt stuck about how to move forward and asked the group in essence:

“What herbs do you use?

What crystals do you use?

And what rituals do you use?”

The power of dreams to heal

Actively working with our dreams can facilitate immense healing and integrate lost parts of ourselves. Creating more presence and less reactivity in our everyday life.

It’s common for my clients to have dreams with young children. Even infants and teenagers.

Sometimes these dreams can be the spirits of children that have transitioned and passed. Or children who are yet to come to planet Earth.

Dreams as messengers

Dreams as messengers

When we’re open to dreams, we receive guidance. Our ancestors, guides, and our soul can bring through important messages.

Last fall I woke up from a dream that took my breath away. Laying there stunned by the overwhelming feeling of love I felt, I knew I had to tell my husband about the dream right away.

This wasn’t just any dream. It was what we might call a “big dream.” One of those dreams that will stay with you for a lifetime.
